Hi I'm Jacquie, I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety. As a driver who regularly covered up to 20,000 miles a year I recognised the importance of taking additional driver training to remain a safe and competent driver. Consequently I completed a Defensive Driving Course and undertook training with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and have been a member since 1992.
I became a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great Driving Instructor.
Before becoming a Driving Instructor I was a manager and coach in the Pharmaceutical Industry. I worked with teams and individuals to help them achieve their best in a variety of business situations. I have been fortunate to receive some excellent investment in my own personal development attending courses and workshops to understand the power of coaching and self directed learning.
I was also trained by LDC in the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard.
I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.
Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.
I live in the lovely village of Glenfarg with my youngest son Adam, our dog Twiggy and a Red Bearded Dragon named Princess.
Other than our pets, my interests include cooking and baking (and eating the results) as well as walking, gardening and reading. I am also the proud owner of a very old but lovely Mazda MX5, complete with pop up headlights.
Well I hope this gives you a brief idea about me so please feel free to click here to "Contact me"
